Questions to Ask Potential Kennel Owners

As a dog owner, I know how stressful it can feel leaving your dogs with people you don’t know. Sadly, there have been disasters in Taiwan where kennels caught fire overnight and no one was there to help the dogs. To give you peace of mind, here are some important questions I always ask before choosing a kennel:

 

• How many dogs will be staying here at one time?

• How many staff are on site at any given time?

• Is there a vet nearby you use in case of an emergency?

• Is someone on site 24/7?

• If an emergency happens out of hours, what is the procedure?
